Information For Librarians
We encourage research librarians to list the DCMI Proceedings among their library's electronic journal holdings.
International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications proceedings are submitted for indexing in a variety of channels (including several that require subscriptions for access -- these cases are noted):
  1. Index of Conference Proceedings (ICP) from the British Library. ICP is are available to various parties.
    • for example, OCLC loads ICP content into 3 files in 2 OCLC services:
      • PapersFirst (indexes individual papers) [OCLC FirstSearch] (subscription required)
      • ProceedingsFirst (indexes at proceedings level) ) [OCLC FirstSearch] (subscription required)
      • http://www.worldcat.org (includes PapersFirst and ProceedingsFirst data)
  2. ACM Guide to Computing Literature. This services index papers in the openly-available Guide, a well-known service from ACM. (See http://dl.acm.org/results.cfm?h=1&query=International%20Conference%20on%20Dublin%20Core%20and%20Metadata%20Applications&dl=GUIDE&dimgroup=6&dim=3221&dimval=4294019334)
    • Note: some limited citation count tracking and citation linking are supported by ACM
  3. Google Scholar (Google Scholar picks up citations via the ACM Guide to Computing Literature, and less comprehensively from other sources)
  4. The proceedings series is listed in Ulrich's Periodical's Directory http://ulrichsweb.serialssolutions.com/title/1327621648177/685899
  5. The proceedings are listed in OCLC's WorldCat (at the individual issue and series levels) (see a list of links: http://www.dcmipubs.org/ojs/index.php/pubs/information/librarians) which is available:
  6. Some proceedings are referenced in Google Books http://books.google.com/books?q=dublin+core+proceedings (in most cases, presumably because individual proceedings are cataloged in WorldCat)
